AURA visitor
PhD researcher Desirée Kumpf is visiting AURA and the EcoGlobal project from November 1 - December 15, 2018.
Based on ethnographic fieldwork on tea plantations in India, Desiree's dissertation examines large scale monocultures from a multispecies perspective. She is currently a PhD student at the University of Leipzig and has previously studied anthropology at Goldsmiths, University of London, and cultural history at Humboldt University of Berlin. She also trained in horticulture at Schumacher College in Devon, UK.
